This series of drawings is inspired by classic fairy tales which feature archetypal good and evil characters

                    such as kings, queens, demons, wolves and witches. These archetypes often transform from animal to human,

                  are cursed, killed, only to re-appear again. While being illogical and supernatural, these transformations

                 resonate with truth. As well as  taking inspiration from these 'redemption motifs', this work also

                 reflects the transformative power of the creative process, and the fluctuating identity of the Self.
